The founding document governing the Moroccan Association for Innovation in Artificial Intelligence

The Statutes were adopted at the Constituent General Assembly held on 18 July 2026 in Rabat, pursuant to Royal Dahir No. 1.58.376 of 15 November 1958 regulating the right of association.

Adoption

Ratified on 18 July 2026 in Rabat (Article 50).

Key provisions

Headquarters: Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, Rabat (Article 3).
Duration: The Association is established for an indefinite period (Article 4).
Executive Board composition: Up to 15 members elected by the General Assembly for a four-year term renewable once (Article 20).
General Assembly: Meets in ordinary session at least once a year; decisions by absolute majority of members present (Articles 16 & 19).
Scientific & Advisory Council: An advisory body appointed by the Executive Board (Articles 27-28).
Ethics: Commitment to responsible, safe AI and protection of personal data (Articles 6 & 42).
