A national institution for artificial intelligence
The Moroccan Association for Innovation in Artificial Intelligence (AMI IA) is a non-profit scientific organization based in Rabat, dedicated to advancing AI research, innovation, education and adoption across Morocco.
AMI IA brings together researchers, practitioners, students and partner institutions around one conviction: artificial intelligence must be developed rigorously, responsibly, and in service of Morocco's human and economic potential.

Our story
The Constituent General Assembly of the Moroccan Association for Innovation in Artificial Intelligence was held on Saturday, 18 July 2026 at the headquarters of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra in Rabat. The Assembly unanimously adopted the Association's Statutes — prepared pursuant to Royal Dahir No. 1.58.376 of 15 November 1958 — elected the Executive Board, endorsed the Association's vision and initial programme, and established its thematic committees.
Legal framework
The Statutes were adopted unanimously at the Constituent General Assembly on 18 July 2026. They comprise 50 articles across 16 chapters governing the Association’s objectives, membership, governance bodies, finances, ethics and oversight.
